Differential Swerve Drive Module
Swerve is a type of drive that allows for full control on the direction and speed of the wheel. This allows the wheel to spin 360° in both directions infinitely while still driving power to the wheel. Typically, one motor drives the turn, and one drives the wheel, however in differential swerve it allows both motors to be putt towards both turn and the driving of the wheel. This makes for a better usage of motor power and will give robots better acceleration, pushing power, and handling. This project taught me more about packaging and pushing materials to an acceptable limit.
